Gemini

Gemini personality

Gemini is the third sign of the zodiac and the messenger of the twelve. Represented by the Twins, Gemini holds two (or more) perspectives at once, which makes it endlessly curious, quick-minded and fascinated by people and ideas.

Ruled by Mercury, the planet of the mind and communication, Gemini loves to talk, learn, write, connect and share. Gemini people are often funny, youthful and great at reading a room.

Gemini strengths

• Quick, curious and always learning
• Witty, funny and great in conversation
• Adaptable to almost any situation
• Able to see many sides of a story
• Youthful energy at any age

The shadow side of Gemini

The shadow side of Gemini can turn scattered, restless and superficial: talking around feelings instead of feeling them. Gemini shadow work is about slowing the mind long enough to let the heart speak, and committing to depth over endless options.

Gemini in love

In love, Gemini needs mental connection first. Conversation is their foreplay. They want a partner who is interesting, playful and secure enough to give them freedom. Boredom is the fastest way to lose a Gemini.

Gemini career and work

Gemini shines in writing, journalism, teaching, marketing, social media, sales, translation and any job that involves communication and variety. Multiple projects at once often suit them better than one.

Gemini Rising

With Gemini Rising, you come across as curious, animated and quick-witted. People see you as talkative and endlessly interesting. You navigate life by learning, connecting and gathering information, and you often look younger than your age.

Gemini Moon

A Gemini Moon processes feelings by talking and thinking them through. You need mental stimulation and conversation to feel emotionally safe. The challenge is to feel emotions fully instead of analyzing them from a distance.

Gemini compatibility

Gemini is often most compatible with Libra, Aquarius, Aries, Leo. Air signs Libra and Aquarius match Gemini’s love of ideas, while fire signs Aries and Leo bring excitement and spontaneity. Opposite sign Sagittarius is a great mental match that expands Gemini’s view of the world.

Real compatibility goes far beyond Sun signs. See how synastry charts compare two whole birth charts.
